Mental Health Transport with Clinical Oversight
Uplift Centre delivers specialist mental health transport for patients who need a calm, clinically aware journey to or from hospital and community settings.
Every transfer is planned around the individual: risk information is reviewed, the right crew is matched, and the journey is kept as least restrictive as safely possible. Our approach is trauma-informed — crews communicate clearly, reduce unnecessary stimulation, and prioritise dignity from pickup to handover.
This is not a general taxi alternative. It is a mental health transport pathway with clinical oversight, safeguarding awareness and crews trained to support people who may be distressed, anxious or in crisis.
